Obituary of Earl S. Works

It is with great sadness that the family of Earl S. Works, announces his sudden passing, Monday October 22, 2018 at the age of 75 years.

Earl loved his church, Community Family Church, he enjoyed fishing, gardening, and especially UK Basketball.  Earl will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 56 years, Sue (Gillum) Works, his children, Tina (Mike) Helson and Lisa Porter.  Earl will also be fondly remembered by his six grandchildren, Jared, Jacob, Chelsea, Kaitlyn, Luke, and Olivia, two great-grandchildren, Colton and Amelia, his sisters, Sharon (Jack) Womble and Martha Ann Britton.  Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Martha (Burnett) Works, and his brother, Wayne C. Works.

A funeral service will be celebrated in memory of Earl on Friday, October 26, 2018, 12:00 PM, at Community Family Church, 11875 Taylor Mill Road, Independence, KY, 41051.  Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the church.  Interment will follow at Floral Hills Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, 2368 Victory Pkwy Ste. 240, Cincinnati, OH, 45206.
