Obituary of Allie Mae Love

     Allie Mae Love, of Florence, KY passed away peacefully at Woodcrest Nursing & Rehabilitation Center on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at the age of 88.

     She was born on December 1, 1929; the daughter of Raymond and Lillian Shields. Allie had worked for the Boone County Board of Education and was a member of the Erlanger First Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting and working on puzzle books. Her greatest joy, however, was spending time with her family and friends.

     Allie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Alfred Love and a brother, Lloyd Shields.

     She is survived by her loving children, Denise (Ron) Willman and Gary Love; sister, JoAnn Carlson; as well as many other relatives and friends who will mourn her loss and cherish her memory.

     A visitation for Allie will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, 8461 Dixie Highway, Florence, KY 41042. Burial will immediately follow the services at Beaver Lick Christian Cemetery.
