Obituary of Kimberly Jean Turner

Kimberly Jean Turner, age 46 of Independence, KY, was received into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, June 3, 2018.

Kim was born in Covington, KY, to Mildred Powers and Virgil Turner. She worked as a hair stylist for Genesis Salon and Spa. Kim enjoyed spending time with her family, the outdoors, refinishing furniture, her dog Leo, and playing softball. She was survived by her daughter, Savannah Patterson; parents, Mildred, and Virgil Turner; brother, David Turner; sister, Lisa (Guss) Cox; nephews, Josh Cox, and Gaige Turner; nieces, Katie Fightmaster, and Melia Turner.

A visitation for Kim will be held on Friday, June 8, 2018, at Community Family Church in Independence, KY, from 11 to 1pm. Funeral services will follow at 1 pm, at the church. Burial will be held at Union-Rice Cemetery, in Union, KY. Memorial donations in Kim’s name may be made payable to C.F.C. Missions, 11875 Taylor Mill Road, Independence, KY, 41051.
