Frances Annette Roberts Solly, 71, of Independence, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2012 at her home. She was a homemaker, a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and attended St.Cecilia Catholic Church. Annette loved being a mom, grandma, and great-grandma and enjoyed shopping and singing. Survivors include her daughter Tammy(Mike) Ponzer of Independence and son Sean (Bonnie) Szymaszek of Melbourne, KY; 6 sisters, Erlene, Mary Virginia, Iva Mae, Noretta, JoAnn and Carol; brother Jackie; grandchildren, Tiffany, Craig, Joe, Emily, Devin, Austin and Kelsie; and great-grandchildren Mason, Tatum, Macy and Cole. She was preceded in death by her parents Boyd and Beulah (Hayden) Roberts, brother Charles Roberts, husband Donald Solly in 1989, and fiancé Ronald Spaulding in 2006. Visitation will be from Monday, January 30, 2012 from 10 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon at St. Cecilia Catholic Church of Independence. Burial will be at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens of Taylor Mill. Memorials may be directed to St. Cecilia Church Building Fund, 5313 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051.
