Obituary of Aaron Teegarden

Aaron David Teegarden, age 84, of Independence, died Thursday, January 5th, at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. He was a retired union Plumber for E.C. Schmidt Plumbing in Alexandria and former cart ranger for A.J. Jolly golf course. Mr. Teegarden was also an Army Veteran and enjoyed golfing, hunting, boating and dirt track car races. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Teegarden of Independence; daughters, Beverly Cummins, Mellony Sebastian, and Amberly D. Teegarden; sisters, Barbara Mains, Georgie Mains, Sue Mains, and Wanda Mains; grandchildren, Josh Dixon, Erin Dixon, and Greg Dixon; and five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Chambers & Grubbs in Independence. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Neaves Cemetery.
