Obituary of Jeremy "Biggin" Goldsberry

Jeremy Carter Goldsberry, better known to many simply as “Biggin” departed this earth enveloped in the love of family at St. Elizabeth Hospice on October 29, 2023.  Biggin was born on March 9, 1979 in Cincinnati, OH. He was a graduate of Grant County High School and worked in maintenance as a RME Tech III and PM Coordinator for Amazon.

The world is a little more lonesome without Biggin in it. He was a devoted husband, father, papaw, son and brother. Biggin was an old soul and individual from a bygone era. He enjoyed classic country music, Andy Griffith, and anything to do with John Wayne. In his younger years, he roped and rode bulls. This gentle giant of a man prized family above all else in life. He was selfless and approached everyone with a generous and caring heart.

Biggin leaves behind wife and love of his life, Dana [Hoebbel] Goldsberry; children Austin Asher (Gracie Stamper), Brittany Asher, Rae-Lynn Nunn, and Skyler Nunn; mother Rhonda Smith (Ron Amason); father Rick Goldsberry (Connie); siblings Shawn Goldsberry (Angie) and Jacob Goldsberry; niece Kelsay Goldsberry; nephew Dalton Goldsberry; cherished grandchild Lucas; numerous treasured cousins, aunts, uncles, other close relatives and dear friends as well as beloved new pup Poncho. 

A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, 11351 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051.  Please come to share stories and memories from 1:00 PM until shortly before the time of the funeral service at 4:00 PM.  In keeping with his wishes, following services Biggin will be cremated and will rest at home with his family. Biggin valiantly battled an aggressive cancer. Please help us blast glioblastoma by giving to the Glioblastoma Foundation online.
