Obituary of George H. Evans

George H. Evans, 70, of Independence, KY, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at his residence. George was a native of Parkersburg, WV where he was born on February 4, 1953, to the late Orville Lee and Florence (nee: Hopson) Evans. He was preceded in death by his brother, Wilbur Evans and aunt, Ernestine Evans. George is survived by his children, Cassie (Deron) Hitch, Kyle Evans, cousin, Betty Ann Evans and his two grandchildren, Elliott and Toby Hitch. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2023, from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Nicholson Christian Church, 1970 Walton Nicholson Rd., Independence, KY 41051.
