Obituary of Steven Charles Smith

Steven Charles Smith, age 63, of Covington, KY, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood, KY.  He was a Printer for CURAtive and a United States Navy Veteran.  Steve enjoyed playing video games and following baseball.  His parents, Charles Edward Smith, and mother, Marlene Frances Hotaling Smith, and brother, Rev. Michael Smith, all preceded him in death.  He is survived by his sister, Patricia “Putt” Smith; sister-in-law, Sharon Smith; nephew, Tom Smith (Carrie); nieces, Rebekah Shiplett (Adam), Hannah Smith, and Lydia Smith; and great nephews, Clark Smith and Bishop Smith.  A graveside funeral service with military honors will be held Friday, October 13, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, 205 Eibeck Lane, Williamstown, KY 41097.  Memorials may be made to the Smith Family, c/o Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051.  For directions or to leave a message of condolence to the family, please go to www.chambersandgrubbs.com.
