Paul Harold Newman, age 49 of Crittenden, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2011 at his residence. A welder for Progress Rail, Paul was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church and an Army Veteran. He coached 4 years for the River Cats baseball team and enjoyed fishing, hunting, sports and gardening. He is survived by wife Carla Newman, daughters Hannah Newman of Crittenden, Sara Newman and Samantha Wolf of Hopkinsville and Brandy Calhoun of Cadiz, sons Dylan Newman of Crittenden and Joshua Calhoun of Cadiz and, sisters Lisa Williams of Crestwood, Tricia Mann of Piner and Emily Albers of Ft. Wright, brother Chris Newman of Independence, parents Tom and Pat Lockhart of Piner and 6 grandchildren. Services will be at Chambers & Grubbs Independence. Visitation will be 5-8 pm. Tuesday, September 13, 2011. Funeral service will be 10 am. Wednesday. Burial will take place in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North. Memorial donations are suggested to Bethesda Community Church, 989 Mt. Zion Rd., Independence, Ky. 41051
