Obituary of Clyde William Lowe

Clyde William Lowe, 83, of Independence, died Tuesday at his residence. He was a maintenance technician from the V.A. Hospital, Cincinnati, and an Army veteran (served as a medic for almost 24 years). He was also a former P.O.W. in Germany. Survivors include brothers, Jim Lowe of Anderson, S.C., Donald Lowe of Covington, and Richard Lowe of Independence; and sisters, Catherine Fields of Blue Ash, Oh, Margaret Myers of Morganton, Ga., and Barbara Jean Jones of Middletown, Ohio. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence. Visitation will begin there at 9 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery.
