Obituary of Alice Irene Rios

Alice Irene Strait Rios, 92, of Florence, died Thursday at Hospice Care Center of Northern Kentucky. She was a homemaker and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in El Paso, Texas. She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Her husband, Robert Gould Rios, died in 1994. Sons, Stephen Rios and Robert Rios, died in 1973 and 2004, respectively. Survivors include daughters, Mary Boyd of Florence and Dorothy McGinty of Newark, N.J.; a son, David Rios of Los Lunas, N.M.; a sister, Virgil Strait of Cleveland, Texas; a brother, Fred Strait of Colton, Calif.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. No services are planned. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, El Paso. Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence, is handling arrangements.
