Obituary of Evelyn Marcella Martin

Evelyn Marcella Bryant Martin, 80, of Independence, died Tuesday at her home. She was a retired clerk with R.L. Polk Co. Her husband, James "Whistler" Martin, died in 1971.
Survivors include daughters, Darlene Grace of Owasso, Okla., and Sherry Noakes of Independence; a brother, Herman Bryant of Warren, Mich.; five granddaughters and a great-granddaughter.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will begin there at 9 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.
