Obituary of George William Morgan

George William Morgan, 88, of Orange Park, Fla., formerly of Independence, died Friday at Orange Park Medical Center. He was a retired dental technician with Ellis Dental, Cincinnati, and a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Independence and Masonic Lodge No. 746 F&AM, Latonia. He was an Army veteran of World War II. His wife, Frieda Morgan, died in 2002. Survivors include a daughter, Cathy Sumner of Orange Park; a son, Bill Morgan of Independence; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services will be at noon Wednesday at Hickory Grove Baptist Church, Independence. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill. Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence, is handling arrangements.
