Special thoughts and heartfelt prayers are with you in your sorrow. "The Lord will give strength to his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace". Psalm 29:11 Comfort is my wish, courage is my prayer. Warm and special are my thoughts for you because I care.
I had the pleasure of knowing Jim from the day that he started at Rockwell in 1977. I really feel proud to have had him work for me for the last 8 years of his career and to be able to give his retirement speech. I have missed Jim unloading trucks and taking off his hat to show me how he was losing all of his hair for the past two years. I feel blessed to have known him. I really feel blessed to have seen and talked with him about 6 weeks ago. We hugged, and then small talked for awhile. I am very Thankful for that. My thoughts and prayers go with each of you.
Jim was one of the first people I met when I started at "Rockwell" and we quickly became "buddies". Whether it was with one of his big bear hugs or his smile, he was one of those rare people who could always make you feel good. Jim had such a big heart and sweet personality that everyone loved him. I feel blessed that I had him as a friend, and he will always hold a place in my heart. My husband, Gary and I send our thoughts and prayers to his family.
Jimmy was a great guy and alot of fun to be around. We had a lot of fun riding motorcycles and going to the racetrack. He loved talking about his girls,I know he will be missed by all who knew him.My thoughts and prayers go out to his family
I was shocked to hear of Jimmy's passing. I am reminded of so many of our good times at Meritor (Rockwell), and though Jimmy and I did not keep in touch after retirement I have kept him in my heart as one of my dearest friends. I will miss him very much. God bless his family.
Pat and Family, My deep regrets to hear of your loss. Pat, you know that all of us at Meritor (Rockwell) felt a lot of comradery towards your brother. He was one of the kindest and most helpful of all co-workers. He was a good friend. He will never be forgotten. I wish you well, Pat, and hope you and family go forward with happiness from here. Grant
I worked with Jim at Rockwell. He was a true gentleman and friend to anyone who spoke to him. He was always fun to be around and set a great example of how to work. He will be missed is an understatement. Heaven is a better place now and earth is a little worse. Keeping Jim in your heart will make the earth bareable.
