Obituary of Margaret Steinmetz

Margaret Brill Steinmetz, 83, of Independence, died Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. She was a retired clerk from Gray Drug Store and a member of Walton Senior Center Primetimers. Her husband, Arthur Steinmetz; and a daughter, Sherry Westendorf, preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Marshall Steinmetz of Edgewood; daughters, Kathy Herzog of Florence, Deborah Steinmetz of Carrollton, and Leisa Yanke of Covington; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will begin there at 9 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Mother of God Cemetery, Latonia. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105.
