Obituary of George Leblang

George L. Leblang, 55, of Latonia, died Saturday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. He was a disabled truck driver with Dale Garrett Leasing. Survivors include his wife, Debbie Opperud Leblang; daughters, Amanda Leblang of Covington and Crystal Roy of Holiday, Fla.; sisters, Tammy Gillion and Debbie Lauderman, both of Independence, and Kimberly Newcomb of Tampa, Fla.; brothers, Dean Leblang and Jimmy Leblang, both of Covington, Darrel Leblang of Independence and Jesse Leblang of Crittenden; and five grandchildren. Services will be at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will begin there at 4 p.m. Tuesday. Cremation will be at Northern Kentucky Cremation Service.
