Obituary of Stephen Walter Fisk

Steven Walter Fisk Sr., 73, of Independence, died Thursday at his residence. He was a retired courier from Michaels Construction. His wife, Darlene Fisk, preceded him in death. Survivors include a son, Stephen Fisk Jr. of Georgetown; a daughter, Peggy Hofler of Independence; a brother, Clifton Fisk of Jacksonville, Fla.; sisters, Thelma Northcutt of Walton, Hilda Chapman of Piner, and Sue Ellen Shanklin of Crittenden; and one grandchild. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will begin there at 9 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery.
