Obituary of Posey Houston

Posey Houston, 80, of Covington, died Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood.
He was a retired switchman from Interlake Steel, Newport, an Army veteran of World War II, and a member of Spring Lake Pentecostal and the Butler Masonic Lodge. His wife, Lottie Mae Houston, preceded him in death.
Survivors include sons, Posey Houston of Covington and Derrick Houston of Ludlow; daughters, Barbara Larry of Florence, Brenda Hoffman and Lesa Faulkner, both of Covington, Patricia Courtney of Morning View, and Sandy Houston McCane of Dry Ridge; brothers, Elwood Houston of Ryland Heights, Eldon Houston of Fort Mitchell, and Boyd Houston of Taylor Mill; a sister, Lorraine Stewart of Georgia; 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will begin there at 11 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.
