Obituary of Shirley Jean Huff

Shirley Jean Huff, 70, of Lexington, formerly of Independence, died Tuesday at St. Joseph's Hospice Center, Lexington. She was a homemaker. A son, Stephen Edward Huff, preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband, Ellis Edward Huff; sons, Gary Huff of Florence and Wayne Huff of Verona; daughters, Kathy Rife and Jeanne Gum, both of Crittenden, Patti Miller and Brenda Hyland, both of Walton; brothers, Donald Shields of Glencoe and Ray Shields of Erlanger; a sister, Joan Shields of Cincinnati; 19 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hughes Chapel Cemetery, Union.
