Obituary of Doshia Palmer

Doshia Chaney Palmer, 92, of Morning View, died Thursday at her residence.
She was a retired bookkeeper from Palmer Trucking and a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church, Independence, and the Senior Citizens Group of Walton. Her husband, Ocie Palmer, died in 1987. Her son, Eugene Palmer, died in 1999.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Jean Palmer of Morning View; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at noon Monday at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill.
