Obituary of Joan Mary England

Joan Mary Kramer England, 75, of Independence, died Friday at her home. She was a retired housekeeper with Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. Her husband, Roy Wayne England, died in 1985. A daughter, Sue Fukano, died in 1997. A son, David Roy England, died in 2001. Survivors include a daughter, Mary Catherine Egbring of Independence; a son, Daniel Wayne England of Rock Island, Ill.; sisters, Doris Pingel and Wanda Northcutt, both of Edgewood, Ivalee Smith of West Palms, Mo., and Carol Burcham of Lebanon, Ohio; a half-sister, Gayle Desmond of Round Lake Beach, Ill.; a brother, Paul Kramer Jr. of Burlington; 12 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Mother of God Cemetery, Fort Wright.
