Obituary of Gary E. Stallings

Gary Elvis Stallings, 46, of Erlanger, died Thursday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. He was a former auto mechanic and a member of Christ Baptist Church of Cold Spring, RFC Race for Christ, and the National Hot Rod Association. Survivors include his wife, Cathy Collins Stallings; sons, Chris Stallings of Independence and Gary "Junior" Stallings of Cincinnati; a daughter, Cherlyn Stallings of Erlanger; his mother, Rebecca Stallings of Covington; a brother, Joe Stallings of Cincinnati; and sisters, Joannie Serbice of Independence, Connie Johnson, Tina Stallings, and Margie Stallings, all of Covington. Services will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will begin there at 2 p.m. Sunday. Burial location will be announced at the service.
