Obituary of Nelson D. Gillum

Nelson D. Gillum, 58, of Covington, died Saturday at St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, Covington.
He was a retired foreman with General Motors.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Gillum; a daughter, Amanda Gillum Woods of Hamilton, Ohio; sisters, Alta Lindon of Van Cleve, Faye Cordes of Independence, Sue Works of Walton, Betty Taulbee of Lee City and Norma Thompson of Cleves, Ohio; brothers, Robert Gillum of Owenton and Larry Gillum of Crestview Hills; and two granddaughters.
Services will be at noon Tuesday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.
Memorials are suggested to St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, 401 E. 20th St., Covington, Ky. 41014.
