Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Berkemeier

Mary Elizabeth Meiman Berkemeier, of Walton, KY peacefully passed away at Emerald Trace in Elsmere, KY on Friday, January 19, 2018 at the age of 90. She was born in Erlanger, KY on April 16, 1927; the daughter of Lawrence and Marie Meiman.

Mary was a homemaker and a longtime member of All Saints Catholic Church in Walton, KY. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Walton Fire Department Auxiliary, and the Altar Society. Mary also loved to quilt and play bingo.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward Berkemeier.

Mary is survived by her sons, Tony (Marcia) Berkemeier, Charles (Denise) Berkemeier, Dave (Connie) Berkemeier, and Mike Berkemeier; daughters, Darlene (JR) Ryan and Rita Dixon; 13 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends.

A visitation for Mary will be held from 10  AM until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 12 PM on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at All Saints Catholic Church in Walton, KY. Burial will follow at Mother of God Cemetery in Latonia, KY.

Memorials in Mary’s name may be made to All Saints Catholic Church, 62 Needmore St, Walton, KY 41094.
