Obituary of Bobbie Geneva Cox

     Bobbie Geneva Cox, of Taylor Mill, KY passed away at her residence on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at the age of 89.

     She was born in Corbin, KY on February 6, 1928; the daughter of Robert and Ina Teague. Bobbie was a longtime member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church and loved to crochet and fish.

     She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Carl Cox and two sons, Harold Cox and David Cox. Bobbie is survived by her son, Dan (Judy) Cox; brothers, Paul Teague and Gary Teague; grandchildren, Kristen Cox, Amanda Cox, Jill Cox Shoffner, Sonja Cox Chilcutt, Darrell Cox, Dana Cox Locklear, Devin Cox Watkins and Diana Cox Bay; several great-grandchildren; as well as other relatives and friends.

     A visitation for Bobbie will be held from 9:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Corbin, KY.

     Memorials in Bobbie’s name may be made to the Hickory Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, 11969 Taylor Mill Rd, Independence, KY 41051.
