Obituary of Ruby Mae Hodge

     Ruby Mae Hodge, of Covington, KY went into the loving arms of Jesus at Woodcrest Nursing Home on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at the age of 91.

     She was born in Harlan County, KY on November 5, 1926; the daughter of Jessie and Aretha Brock. Ruby was a longtime member of Community Family Church and loved serving the church, having served on the Widows Committee. She also enjoyed playing Chicken Foot and spending time with her cherished family.

     Ruby was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Ernest “Bo” Hodge; daughter, Pat May; son, Randy Hodge, sister, Audrey Hensley and brothers, James Brock and Paris Lee Brock.

     She is survived by her loving sons, Wayne Hodge and Terry Hodge; sisters, Mildred Cox and Opal Howard; grandchildren, Troy May, Jason Hodge, Shane Hodge, Miranda Knight-Sheikh and Trinity Hodge; great-grandchildren, Bo Hodge, Chandler Hodge, Sebastian Hodge, Zack Hodge, Gabriel “Gabe” Hodge, Gavin Hodge, Amelia Sheikh and Mia Hodge; as well as many other relatives and friends.

     A visitation for Ruby will take place from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 PM on Friday, January 12, 2018 at Community Family Church, 11875 Taylor Mill Rd, Independence, KY 41051. Burial will immediately follow at Alexandria Cemetery in Alexandria, KY.
