Obituary of Margaret M. Meyer

Margaret M. Meyer, age 95, of Newport, KY (formerly of Florence and Ft. Wright) passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Hospice Center in Edgewood, KY.  She was a former Department Store Clerk and a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church.  “Marge” enjoyed being around people, dancing and participating in her prayer group at church.

  She is survived by her daughter, Shelley Lynn Robinson (Jim); grandchildren, Zachary Kendall Robinson and Alissa Joy Taylor; three great-grandchildren, Hunter K. Robinson, Carson J. Taylor, and Ethan J. McCauley; and brother, Jack C. Mitts. Marge was preceded in death by her husbands, Shelby Kendall, Jim Carroll, and Gilbert Meyer; daughters, Linda Louise Kendall and Cheryl Jacqueline Kendall; brother, Estill Mitts; and sister, Clara Mitts.    

Visitation will be Friday, December 15, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a funeral service immediately following at 1 p.m. at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence.  Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Erlanger.  Memorials may be made to Redwood, 71 Orphanage Rd, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017.  Online condolences may be expressed to www.chambersandgrubbs.com.
