Obituary of Robert Eisenschmidt

Robert C. Eisenschmidt, age 87, of Walton, passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, August 24, 2017.  He was a retired Engineer for Cincinnati Bell and a member of Walton Christian Church.  Bob enjoyed spending winters in Florida, participating in his Air Stream Clubs, reading, cars, and his family. 

His wife, Doris McNeely Eisenschmidt and daughter, Anita Portwood, preceded him in death.  He is survived by his daughter, Sharon Gadd (Terry); son, Blake Eisenschmidt (Kim); brother, Raymond Eisenschmidt (Margo); grandchildren, Justin Portwood, Jeremy Portwood, Branden Gadd, Brent Gadd (Hilary) , Miranda Eisenschmidt, and Mason Eisenschmidt; great grandchildren, Tanner Portwood, Carson Portwood, Eli Portwood, and Lillian Rucker.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 30, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon with the funeral service beginning at 12 noon at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Walton.  Interment will be at Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati, OH. 

Memorials may be made to the St. Jude’s Children Research Center, the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association or Salvation Army.
