Obituary of Linville Ray Bargo

Linville Ray Bargo, age 81, of Covington, KY, passed away on Thursday, August 24, at his home. Born in Barbourville, KY, to the late Oliver and Kittie Meredith Bargo.                                                                                                             

 Linville worked as a butcher for Servall Foods and was member of Visalia Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, singing, and playing guitar. Linville is preceded in death by his loving wife of 41 years, Patricia Slayback Bargo. He is survived by his sons, Mike (Janet) and Kevin (Jill) Bargo; brothers, Oliver Jr. (Ruby) and Glenn (Rose) Bargo, sister, Juanita (Tommy) Bradley; grandchildren, Jason (Mandi) Bargo, Jessica (Dan) Hyden, Miles (Emily) and Jessica Sageser; great-grandchildren, Leilah and Ava Hyden, Jadon and Gabriel Bargo, Taylor, Amelia, and Max Sageser, Eli Kordenbrock, and Jack Rodgers.

A visitation for Linville will be held on Monday, August 28, 2017, at Chambers & Grubbs Independence, from 11 am to 1 pm. Funeral services will follow at 1 pm. Burial will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Garden. Memorial donations may be made payable to Norton Children’s Hospital (Kosiar Hospital) 200 East Chestnut St. Louisville KY, 40202; or donate online at http://nortonchildrens.com/donate/
